    Crews contain early morning vegetation fire 

    paso robles fire and emergency–On Monday, at approximately 2:58 a.m., Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services responded to 3200 Sulphur Springs Road for a reported vegetation fire.

    The first units arrived at scene within approximately five minutes. The initial crew reported a quarter acre of grass and brush actively burning.

    Two fire engines, one squad, and one battalion chief from Paso Robles responded.

    Under the city’s automatic aid agreement, two fire engines and one battalion chief from Cal Fire/SLO County immediately responded. Additional assistance was provided by the Paso Robles Police Department.

    The fire was contained at approximately 3:10 a.m. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
