Firefighters control brush fire in Shandon at 10 acres

–Cal Fire responded to a vegetation fire east of Shandon Wednesday afternoon.
It broke out on Highway 46 near the Cholame “Y” on the Antelope Grade.
At around 5:40 p.m., CAL FIRE reported forward progress was stopped at 10 acres.
Containment was at 90-percent as of 6:05 p.m.
