Community attends Paso Robles Fire Station Open House
–Several hundred people visited Paso Robles Fire Station #1 for the first-ever Fire Station Open House held Saturday. The event was presented by Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services in conjunction with Paso Robles Professional Firefighters.
Firefighters displayed equipment and conducted rescue demonstrations for the crowd. One exercise showed how they can remove smoke from a building, in this case, the firehouse garage. They also demonstrated a tower rescue. Those in attendance got the opportunity to hold a fire hose as it shot water.
