Pedestrian injured after being struck by vehicle on Morro Road
–On Saturday at approximately 9:54 p.m., personnel from the Atascadero Police Department and Atascadero Emergency Services responded to the area of the 7700 block of Morro Road regarding a pedestrian that had been struck by a vehicle.
Personnel arrived on scene and discovered a subject had been standing in the middle of Morro Road and had been struck by a passing motorist. The subject sustained major injuries and was transported to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The Atascadero Police Department’s Traffic Unit was called in to investigate the collision.
