–Thousands of locals and visitors filled downtown Paso Robles Saturday, Oct. 12, for the 89th Annual Paso Robles Pioneer Day Parade, bean feed, and other activities.

The Pioneer Day Parade started at 10 a.m. on 16th Street at Spring Street and ended up surrounding the Paso Robles City Park.

Parade entries included antique tractors, horse-drawn wagons, marching bands, mounted equestrian groups, youth groups, church groups, civic groups, floats, vintage cars, fire engines, military vehicles and more. This year’s float theme was “One-Room Schoolhouse Days.”

The $500 main prize for best depiction of the theme went to St. Rose Catholic School.
