Chamber of commerce to host annual Christmas tree auction
Auction supports community nonprofits
– The Paso Robles and Templeton Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Christmas tree auction and awards ceremony on Dec. 5, bringing together community members for an evening of celebration and local recognition. The event, scheduled at the American Legion Hall in Templeton from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., will serve as a fundraiser for local nonprofits.
This year’s honorees include Teresa Dellaganna as citizen of the year, Miller Drilling Company as business of the year, and Melinda Reed for community enhancement. Chamber organizers invited the public to “celebrate their accomplishments and share in the holiday spirit.”
The Christmas tree auction invites local businesses, individuals, and organizations to donate fully decorated trees with unique themes, ornaments, gifts, or experiences. These trees will be auctioned to the highest bidders, with proceeds going to designated local nonprofit organizations.
The chamber encourages contributions and offers several ways to participate:
- Donors may select a unique theme and decorations for their tree.
- Items like gift cards, baskets, and other presents can be added to enhance each tree’s appeal.
- Donors choose a local nonprofit to benefit from the tree’s sale.
- Attendees can RSVP to witness the auction and the trees finding new homes.
Tickets and details on donating or attending the event are available through the Paso Robles and Templeton Chamber of Commerce website.
