Child on scooter hit by vehicle in Paso Robles 

–A student at Flamson Middle School was struck by a car while crossing the street Tuesday afternoon. The male student was crossing against a red light on his scooter when he was struck by a vehicle traveling through a green light, according to Paso Robles Police Lieutenant Ty Lewis.

The student was brought to Twin Cities hospital but was released with no injuries other than minor scrapes and bruises, according to Lewis.
