Fatal collision reported on Highway 46

– A fatal traffic collision occurred on Highway 46 West, approximately five miles east of Highway 1 Sunday, according to the California Highway Patrol. Three other people were injured, according to reports.

The collision prompted the closure of Highway 46 West for approximately two hours. Authorities diverted traffic and advised motorists to expect delays.
