Firefighters extinguish burning truck on River Road

Truck on fire
Paso Robles firefighters responded Friday morning to a small truck that erupted into flames on North River Road.

The incident occurred Friday before 10 a.m. when a gray, 1990s model Toyota truck caught fire while traveling southbound on River Road, near Caliber Collision, 1811 N. River Road, Paso Robles, CA.

The occupants of the vehicle said that the truck stopped like it ran out of gas, then started smoking, eventually bursting into flames.

Firefighters arrived quickly on the scene to extinguish the blaze. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and still under investigation.
