Immigration information sessions to be held Friday, Saturday
Sessions will be held in Santa Maria and Paso Robles Friday and Saturday
–U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will present two Immigration Information sessions in Paso Robles and Santa Maria this Friday and Saturday. The sessions are an effort to help immigrants gather important information about immigrating, naturalizing, and even ask immigration officers questions about their cases.
The public is invited, and USCIS will be on hand to help people understand such issues as:
- How to petition for a relative
- The process to obtain lawful permanent residence (green card)
- How to find authorized help
- How to become a US citizen
- How to avoid immigration scams.
Photo: USCIS Community Relations Officers, Graciela Arreola-Munoz and Brandon Menancio will be presenting to the communities in Paso Robles and Santa Maria and be available to answer immigration questions in English and Spanish. Free educational materials will be handed out while supplies last.
The sessions will be held:
- Friday, June 16, 5 – 8 p.m., Full Gospel Korean Church, 3402 Oak St., Paso Robles
- Saturday, June 17, 12 – 2:30 p.m., Christ United Methodist Church, 219 N. Mary Dr. Santa Maria
