Letter: Grateful for community support in moment of crisis
– While attending the President’s Day protest, I experienced a random seizure (first one ever!) and collapsed into unconsciousness on Spring Street amidst my fellow sign-holders. Thank you to the remarkable women who caught me mid-fall and made sure I was safe until the ambulance arrived.
I don’t remember the seizure or the ride to French Hospital, but I do know the actions of my fellow Paso Roblans–including my sister, retired teacher, Jeanne Serge, kept me safe and protected until help arrived.
It is this proactive sense of community that makes all of us stronger and more unified here in our special part of California. I may never know just “who” assisted during my traumatic event, but please know that I’m forever grateful for your loving care. We are Paso Robles Strong!
With a grateful heart,
Patrikya Kuznetsoff,
Paso Robles
