Local man goes missing off the coast of Port San Luis 

Body has not been found and search efforts have been suspended

Port San Luis.

–Nicholas Deloss Marold, 35, of Arroyo Grande, has been identified as the man who went missing Friday after going overboard from an inflatable fishing vessel 3 miles off the coast of Port San Luis.

The Sheriff’s Marine Enforcement Unit, Sheriff’s Underwater Search and Recovery Dive Team, Port San Luis Harbor Patrol, US Coast Guard vessels and helicopter and a CHP helicopter had been searching for Marold. His body has not been recovered. Next of kin have been notified. The US Coast Guard and the Sheriff’s Office have suspended all search efforts.
