Man’s body found after house fire 

–The Coroner’s Unit of the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office is identifying a man who was found dead in a house fire in rural Arroyo Grande Sunday. The man is identified as 61-year-old Thomas Edward Gingell of Arroyo Grande. The fire occurred Sunday at 7:30 a.m. on the 1800 block of Pomeroy Ave. in Arroyo Grande.

The Sheriff’s Office is conducting the death investigation. Cal Fire is conducting the fire investigation. An autopsy is scheduled for this week to determine the manner and cause of death.
