Obituary of Vicki Thomason, 61
– Vicki Thomason, age 61, passed away in Paso Robles on Nov. 14, 2024.
Vicki was born in Atascadero on Nov. 22, 1962, to parents Gary and Carmen Thomason. She attended Atascadero High School and graduated in 1980. She was married to Jamie Cargill and divorced. Later in life she met and loved John Kopishke. Vicki worked at One Stop in Paso Robles for 20 years. She loved her gardens and spending time near the ocean.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Vicki is survived by her partner, John Kopishke, two sons, Ty (Heather) Cargill, Robert Kopishke, two sisters, Charlene (Charles) Comfort, Kelly Thomason, two grandsons, Hunter and Tucker Cargill, step-mother Virginia Thomason, step-sister Janet (Fred) Filmore, step-brother Dan Rhodes Jr, four nephews and one niece. Also a special friend, Linda Charnley who took care of her for many months in her fight against cancer, and friend Mary Booker, who was always there for her.
Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to Paso Cares, P. O. Box 2834, Paso Robles, CA 93446. Vicki felt strongly about this charity that helps feed the homeless.
