The Bearcat boys earned their first victory in the Mountain League on Wednesday night. The Bearcats traveled to Morro Bay to face off against the Pirates. Paso took control early in the first quarter and held a 4-0 lead by the end of the 1st. The Bearcats found the back of the net five more times in the second quarter propelling Paso to 9-2 lead. The final score for the contest was 12-6. Reily Lowry led the Bearcats with 4 goals, followed by teammates Tre Eade, Wyatt Millsap, and Cody Domingos who each scored two goals. Michael Brown and Cameron Clayton each added 1 goal.
The Bearcats are now 1-0 in league play and 1-3 for the season. Their next match will be Wednesday the 24th against the Arroyo Grande Eagles.

Today the Bearcat Girl’s Water Polo team played a game vs Morro Bay at Morro Bay. Morro Bay came away with the victory with a score of 10 to 4. At the end of the 1st period, Paso held a 2 to 1 lead with Leanna Reed and Ericka Enriquez scoring for the Bearcats. In the second period Morro Bay tossed in 4 goals, Paso scored 1 goal from Freshman Sienna Lowry. At the end of the 2nd period, Morro Bay held a 5 to 3 lead. In the fourth period, Erica Enriquez scored the only goal in the period for the Bearcats. Morro Bay scored 3 goals to make the 3-period score 8 to 4 Morro Bay. In the fourth quarter, she was able to score 2 more goals for a final score of 10 to 4 Morro Bay. In the game, the Bearcats Goalie Kaitlyn Hebrand had a total of 14 saves. She had an outstanding game trying to keep the Bearcats close. Kaitlyn was able to block five 5 meter penalty shots during today’s game. The Bearcats are 0 and 2 on the season so far. The Bearcats are very young this season as there are no seniors, 2 juniors, 3 sophomores, and 9 freshmen in this condensed COVID season. The next scheduled game for the Lady Bearcats will be against the Pirates of Santa Ynez on Saturday, March 20 at 10 AM at Santa Ynez.

Paso Robles High School golf
Paso Robles High School hosted Righetti at the Paso Robles Golf Club today. Righetti earned a victory with a team score of 259. The Bearcats shot a 276. Lexi Wagoner shot the low score for the Bearcats with a 52.
