Paso Wine Man pets tiger, says ‘Grow Wild in Paso Robles Wine Country’

Varietal of the month: Mourvedre

Jan. 9, 2013 – The Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance released its latest creation in the successful series of “Paso Wine Man” videos. The newest video posted to YouTube yesterday is titled “Mourvedre – Taming the Beast.” It kicks off the alliance’s 2013 wine grape “Variteal of the Month Series.” January is mourvedre month.

The actor begins, “Some have called it temperamental, impossible to tame, gamey, a beast,” and then into the shot walks a live tiger. “Mourvedre, it’s a rare and unique breed.”

It’s part of the wine alliance’s new marketing campaign, “Grow Wild in Paso Robles Wine Country.” The Paso Wine Man is actor Casey Biggs and the video was shot at Croad Vineyards off Highway 46 West in Paso Robles.

The alliance gave a special thanks you to ZOO to YOU for allowing them to feature Jasmine the Tiger in the video. ZOO to YOU is an animal rescue facility in Paso Robles that brings education and adventure together to create an unforgettable learning experience for children.
