Suburban crashes near San Miguel

Around noon on Friday on US 101 North near San Marcos Road in the San Miguel area an accident occurred that involved a Chevy Suburban towing what appeared to be an enclosed travel trailer, according to a report by SLO Stringer. A second vehicle was also reportedly involved, which was described as either a semi or box truck but had not been confirmed.

The left lane of the freeway was closed for extrication of a patient as of noon. As of 1p.m., the roadway was clear and the lane was re-opened. California Highway Patrol and Cal Fire and San Luis Obispo Ambulance and Johnboy’s Towing responded to the scene.
