Tech networking mixer returns to North County this week
Local event brings together entrepreneurs, tech professionals, and job seekers
– The Central Coast Tech Networking Mixer will return to BridgeWorks in downtown Atascadero on Thursday, April 16, at 5:30 p.m., continuing a growing series that connects professionals from across San Luis Obispo County.
The free event draws a wide range of attendees, including entrepreneurs, tech workers, remote employees, and community members interested in learning more about technology and local business activity. Organizers say the group reflects the region’s evolving workforce, with some attendees working at or connected to Fortune 500 companies while others are building startups or exploring new career paths.
“One of our attendees recently told us we have some of the best conversations of any event they go to,” said Albert Qian, founder of Albert’s List. “That’s because people show up to share ideas, build relationships, and actually talk through what they’re working on—not just exchange business cards.”
The mixer also serves as a meeting point for employers and job seekers. Organizers note that many attendees are actively looking for opportunities in fields such as software engineering, information technology, marketing, and sales, and encourage recruiters and hiring managers to attend.
Pizza from Fatte’s will be served, and guests are encouraged to bring business cards or LinkedIn QR codes for easy networking.
The event is free and open to the public.
