2017 Farm to Fork to highlight the history of agriculture in Paso Robles

–The Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce Women in Business committee is hosting the 2017 Farm to Fork luncheon on Aug. 18, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Adelaida Vineyards and Winery. This year’s theme, “Farm to Fork. Vine to Glass. Remembering our Roots.” will highlight the history of agriculture in Paso Robles from past to present.

Grace Pucci, member of the Paso Robles Historical Society and docent at Carnegie Library, will talk about what agriculture has meant to our community and how it has changed over the years. Two members of the Adelaida team, General Manager Jessica Kolhoff and Wine Enologist Ryan Bosc, will educate the group on the wine industry over the past 15 years. Rounding out our historical education will be Jessica Silvius from Opolo. She will reveal what the up and coming distillery movement will mean for our area.

Part of the event will showcase a silent auction. 100-percent of the proceeds from the auction will benefit the Women in Business Commitment to Community Scholarship fund. Auction donations are still being accepted.

Space is limited but tickets are still available. For more information or to register for the event, visit www.pasorobleschamber.com/events. For questions, call the chamber office at (805) 238-0506 or email events@pasorobleschamber.com.
