2019 Mid-State Fair wraps up

–The California Mid-State Fair closed its 12-day run at midnight Sunday night.

Crowds packed the fair for the final two days for the rodeo on Saturday and monster trucks on Sunday evening.

Many also turned out to see and hear Luis Coronel Sunday evening on the free Frontier Stage.

The Jr. Livestock Auction brought in more than $2.1 million dollars Saturday, which may be greater than last year’s record. It will take several days to reach the final auction figure, because many people pay more for their final bid, “add-ons” they call them.

Among the new attractions, the Chill Zone and Camp Rattlesnake attracted and entertained many fair goers.
