Update: Additional details released in fatal Parkhill Road accident

Update posted June 20, 7 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol has released the identity of the Idaho woman who died in a single car rollover accident on Parkhill Road Sunday as 25-year-old Mikyley Reitz.

Local residents said that they heard the vehicle before the crash and said that they though the vehicle was driving very fast. Officials say that Reitz was not able to negotiate a left curve in the roadway and she lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle rotated and rolled onto it’s roof, crushing the cab. Reitz was pronounced dead at the scene.

Alcohol has not been factored out as a factor in this collision, according to CHP.
