The Mortgage House, Inc., a mortgage banking firm with offices in San Luis Obispo/Santa Barbara County for the last 22 years, established a Community Fund beginning with $20,000 to celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2015. Last year’s recipient was Friends of 40 Prado, the nonprofit established to plan and create a new homeless shelter in San Luis Obispo. The Mortgage House Community Fund continues to grow with additional dollars from every loan it closes.
