3000 gallons of sewage spills in Paso Robles neighborhood
— Over 3000 gallons of sewage broke from a blocked pipeline onto Lark Drive in Paso Robles Monday at 2 p.m. The city completed clearing blockage, street cleaning and disinfectant efforts at this time; the city is currently clearing the storm drains in the area.
The property owner on Lark Drive and Quail Run Estates will be expected to address long-term actions for the pipeline, including replacement of parts if needed. The spilled sewage does not pose any public health concerns, but citizens are encouraged to avoid the spill area until cleanup is completed, according to the San Luis Obispo Public Health Department.
