School district to host ‘Doing Business with PRJUSD’ workshop
Workshop will discuss district needs
–Paso Robles Joint Unified School District will be hosting a free workshop for local businesses titled “Doing Business with PRJUSD”. The workshop will be held on Thursday, July 28, at the Paso Robles High School Performing Arts Center at 801 Niblick Road. The workshop will be offered at two different times and participants can choose to attend either session.
The first session will begin at 11 a.m. and the second session will begin at 12 p.m.
PRJUSD is a major purchaser of various goods and services within the district. The needs of the district are quite diverse and include items such as basic instructional materials, office supplies, and custodial supplies. The district also seeks out contractors for services such as school building repair, renovation, and construction.
The workshop is being hosted by the PRJUSD Business Services Department which includes several departments: Maintenance, Operations, Transportation, Facilities, Food Services, Technology, Accounting, and Purchasing. The presenters will discuss the different types of services and products needed and how to become a vendor or licensed contractor in the district.
For those who cannot attend this first workshop, PRJUSD will be hosting an additional session on Tuesday, Aug. 16 at 6 p.m. in the District Office Board Room located at 800 Niblick Road.
