    90’s Babiez Band kicks off Atascadero’s First Fridays concert series

    Series launches with first concert Sept. 6

    – The City of Atascadero will launch its Fall First Fridays series on Sept. 6 with a performance by the ’90s Babiez Ultimate Party Band. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. at The Plaza on El Camino, across from Sunken Gardens.

    The 90’s Babiez Ultimate Party Band will perform popular R&B and hip-hop hits from the late ’80s and ’90s, including songs by LL Cool J, TLC, BBD, Usher, Salt-N-Pepa, Morris Day, and Hall & Oates. The band is known for its energetic performances and appeals to all ages.

    Attendees can enjoy live music, a variety of food options including Hautulco Tacos, and explore local shops and eateries. The event will also feature the “A-Town Art Hop,” showcasing artists and offering live music, art exhibits, and participation from over 30 businesses.

    Future Fall First Friday events include:

    • Oct. 4: The Plaza on El Camino with Carbon City Lights
    • Nov. 1: Downtown’s “Dia de Los Muertos” Celebration with Big Wheel Cobra, strolling Mariachi Band, food trucks, and the A-Town Art Hop
    • Dec. 1: Light Up the Downtown and Sunken Gardens with Holiday Sip & Shop
