9th Annual Paso Robles Dog Jog is April 1

Dog Jog is a benefit for the Paso Robles Sherwood Dog Park

–The community is invited to join Sherwood Dog Park volunteers on a 2k or 4k jog or walk through the lush Vina Robles vineyard at the 9th annual Dog Jog on Saturday, April 1, 2017. After the jog, listen to live music as you enjoy lunch, wine tasting and tour the event expo comprised of local, dog loving vendors, silent auction and dog contests. Participation in this fundraiser is a great way to “actively” help support the ongoing maintenance and improvements for the Sherwood Dog Park located in Paso Robles. Registration for this event is already open.

“What a splendid way to spend time with your dog while jogging through the vineyards at beautiful Vina Robles winery,” says Larry Miller, Sherwood Dog Park’s board member. “The event is filled with activities for the whole family to enjoy. It’s an opportunity to come together as a community, have some fun with your pet and support your local dog park.”

An early registration fee of $25, includes: 2k or 4k jog or walk, commemorative dog bandana, goody bag, finisher’s medal, a voucher for lunch and Vina Robles wine tasting and event glass for 21 and older participants. Additional lunch or wine tasting will be available for purchase.

Register now to participate in this annual event. Early registration is open now until March 30, when the registration fee will increase to $30 going into the morning of the event. Check-in and morning of registration begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 1. The jog begins at 10 a.m. For information or to register for the Dog Jog visit www.parks4pups.org or call (805) 239-9326. All event proceeds benefit Sherwood Dog Park located in Paso Robles.

About Sherwood Dog Park

Sherwood Dog Park “Where Dogs Take Flight” opened in Paso Robles on April 2012 as a result of the grassroots efforts of a few hard-working community members with help from, Parks4Pups, a nonprofit organization. It is the only dog park in Paso Robles and is located at 290 Scott Street adjacent to the Senior Center. Sherwood Dog Park is paid for from private donations, park day use and membership fees, and fundraisers such as the Dog Jog.
