– This week the City of Paso Robles announced the appointment of Christopher Alakel as public works director.
Over the past year, he has worked as the interim public works director. Alakel and his team have successfully navigated multiple major projects and challenges during his tenure. His track record of success led to the offer of permanent public works director position (removing the interim title) and he accepted, according to the city.
