Weather Underground reports .68 inches fell Friday as measured at the Paso Robles Airport. Paso Robles Public Works Department’s official records were not yet available. If the records match up, it would bring the city to almost 13 inches for the rainfall season, which began July 1.

Friday’s storm continued to fill up the Salinas River, forcing more evacuations and rescues of homeless in the riverbed. This season’s rainfall is slowly adding volume to Nacimiento and San Antonio lakes. As of Thursday, Nacimiento was 29-percent full and San Antonio was 5-percent full. Keep track of lake levels here.

Another storm is expected to roll in to town on Sunday. See the forecast here. Check annual rainfall totals here.
