Local teen arrested for rape

–Paso Robles Police have arrested 18-year old Paso Robles resident Aaron Jacob Duran for rape that they say occurred in an open field during the night of Tuesday, July 26.
On Wednesday at approximately 3:20 a.m., officers from the Paso Robles Police Department were dispatched to Twin Cities Community Hospital on a report of a 16-year-old sexual assault victim being treated there. Officers determined the sexual assault occurred in an open field area accessed via the 1100 block of Ramada Drive sometime earlier during the overnight hours.
Detectives began an immediate investigation into the incident. As a result of that investigation, detectives located and arrested Duran. This arrest occurred after an interview at the Paso Robles Police Department, on Thursday at approximately 2 p.m.
Duran was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail on the following charges with bail set at $100,000:
Forcible rape (Felony)
Forcible oral copulation (Felony)
Penetration with foreign object (Felony)
Due to the nature of the incident and the age of the victim no further information will be released.

Is it victim blaming ? Or stating the obvious ? In general too many of these kind of cases have "victims" that don't understand the life long consequences and turmoil they needlessly create for the other party. Not that it pertains to this case at all but it's pathetic how many accusers are merely trying to find a way to avoid being called on their b.s. , so to speak , where their not so innocent lifestyle and or choices would be exposed to parents ,etc.

Making comments about cases like this before the facts are all out makes people look really stupid when they eventually come out. Not to mention, your comment can cause additional harm to those still reeling from the episode. Be patient and make good choices people.
This is so sad to read how some are judging before knowing the details!!!! I have read so many articles and comments on Facebook about this young man that are terrible to read!!! There has been minimal information regarding this situation and how tons of people have judged!!! Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty!!! If this young man is innocent social media and comments could be ruining his life!!!! If he is guilty then yes he should pay the price and yes I would feel horrible for this young lady but until everyone knows all details nobody should judge and stop trying to ruin this guys life before anything has been heard!
