Citizens petition for Caltrans to improve safety at Wellsona Intersection

–A petition has been launched on Change.org for Caltrans to address the safety issues at the Wellsona intersection North of Paso Robles. The intersection has been the site of many accidents in the past few years, many of them fatal.
The campaign, entitled “Make the Wellsona/Highway 101 intersection safe for everyone,” can be viewed here.
The page reads:
More and more frequently we are having major accidents at the intersection of Highway 101 and Wellsona Road in Paso Robles, California. This intersection is dangerous and something must be done to correct the issue. Adding an overpass, either for the Highway or for Wellsona Road would completely remove the possibility of accidents.
Please share this petition so we can get the attention of the people at Caltrans. Enough people have been hurt or killed at that intersection. It’s time for it to stop!
