– The Adoptable Pet of the Week this week is Mabel, a 1-year-old terrier mix currently available through Novy’s Ark Dog Rescue and Adoption.
Mabel was initially overlooked at the shelter due to fearfulness, but she has made rapid progress in a foster home. Within days, she bonded closely with her foster caregiver, following her throughout the home and showing affection by rolling over for belly rubs.
Mabel is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and housebroken. She has not yet been introduced to other dogs and may do best in a home willing to give her time to adjust.
