Adoptable pet of the week: Salsa 

–The featured dog of the week is Salsa from Second Chance at Love, a dog rescue and sanctuary in Templeton that takes in abandoned, neglected, abused or abandoned dogs.

Salsa and her little mates were rescued from deplorable conditions. She came to Second Chance filthy, ill, and malnourished. It took a few weeks but this darling girl is now healthy and ready to find her new home.

This Terrier/Chihuahua mix weighs in at five lbs and is about 12 weeks old. She’s is a typical rambunctious puppy. Salsa, with her litter mates are doing great with their training and love to go on walks. All she needs now is a home to call her own.
