– The Adoptable Pet of the Week this week is Stella, from Novy’s Ark Dog Rescue and Adoption. Stella was found in Fresno in terrible shape, according to the shelter. She was so covered in ticks that her body temperature was low, and she was barely responding. Thankfully, the shelter was able to help her start feeling a bit better. “When we saw her situation, we immediately said we would take her,” Novy’s said.
She is described as the cutest, spunkiest four-month-old pup. She is only 5 pounds, so she will remain a small dog even though it’s not exactly clear what combo of Chihuahua/ terrier she is. She is good with kids, dogs, and even cats. She is working on housebreaking and sleeps in a crate through the night.
