– The Adoptable Pet of the Week this week is Sugar Mama, a five-year-old Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix from Novy’s Ark Canine Rescue and Adoption. Recently rescued from a local shelter, Sugar Mama just recently gave birth to eight puppies and is caring for them with love. Described as sweet and affectionate, she will be ready for adoption once her puppies are old enough in mid-November. The rescue believes that the puppies are mixed with poodle.
