Adoptable Pet of the Week: Midas

Midas

—This week’s Adoptable Pet of the Week is Midas, from Woods Humane North County.

Midas is a large, friendly male cat almost three years old. He has a plush black coat and his favorite pastime is sunbathing on the cat porch on a warm day. He likes visitors and particularly enjoys having his ears scratched.

Midas needs a special home. He has tested positive for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV+), so he should live indoors as the only cat in the household. He has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and he is ready to go home today. Since he is FIV positive, Woods cannot provide a health guarantee, so Mickey’s adoption fees are waived.

Woods Humane North County has a variety of cats and kittens available for adoption; they can be viewed on the website at woodshumanesociety.org/adopt/. Potential pet parents are encouraged to visit our shelter to find the right cat for their family.

Woods Humane North County is located in Atascadero, just off of Highway 101 by the Del Rio Road exit, at 2300 Ramona Rd. They are open daily from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. More information is provided on the website, or call Woods North County at (805) 466-5403.
