Adoptable pets of the week: Darby and Todd

–This week’s edition of North County Adoptable Pets of the Week features terrier mix Darby and orange tabby Todd.

Todd is available for adoption at North County Humane Society.

The cat of the week from North County Humane Society is Todd. Todd arrived at NCHS a few months ago with his brother Stewart. They came from a loving family, but the grand kids were extremely allergic to cats, and both Stewart and Todd had to be given up.

Brother Stewart has been adopted, and now, more than ever, Todd needs a family of his own. Todd is a 2 year old orange colored tabby with white nose, chest and “socks.” He is friendly, playful and outgoing, and he would love to find a home with kids. He is neutered, micro-chipped and vaccinated – ready to join a new family today.

Available cats and kittens can be seen on the website at www.slonchs.org. Potential pet parents are also encouraged to stop by and visit with the cats to find the right one for their family.

The North County Humane Society is located just off of Highway 101 by the Del Rio Road exit at 2300 Ramona Rd. in Atascadero. Open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Complete information is listed on the website, or call NCHS at (805) 466-5403.

Darby is available for adoption at Second Chance at Love.

Available for adoption this week from Second Chance at Love, a dog rescue and sanctuary in Templeton that takes in abandoned, neglected, abused or abandoned dogs, is Darby.

Darby’s life started off a bit rocky, he was in a bad situation sad and neglected, sick and underweight. This little guy is a 2-year -old terrier mix weighing in at about 17 lbs.

With all that life through at him he never let it get him down. He’s now happy and healthy and just the sweetest little guy. He’s amazing with people and both dogs and cats. All he needs now is his forever home.
