Adults can create patriotic embroidery at library workshop
– The Paso Robles City Library will host a patriotic embroidery class for adults on Wednesday, July 1, as part of activities recognizing the nation’s 250th birthday.
The class will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. at an off-site location. Registration opens at 9 a.m. Friday, June 19.
Participants will create a Patriotic Mason Jar embroidery project designed by Sew What Alicia. The project introduces crafters to basic embroidery stitches and uses melted crayon to create a water effect inside the Mason jar design.
Library officials said the class is suitable for both beginning and intermediate stitchers. All supplies will be provided, and participants are asked to bring their library cards.
Space is limited. The class is open to ages 16 and older.
