Agricultural consultant to speak at July grape growing seminar 

–On July 19, the Independent Grape Growers of the Paso Robles Area (IGGPRA) will host the fifth of an eight-part seminar series on “Practical Grape Growing.” Daphne Amory, an agricultural advisor and coach with a knack for success in regenerative farming, will be one of three guest speakers.

The full program is:

  • Adding Truffles to your Grape Growing Portfolio: Lisa Bodrogi, Cuvee Connections
  • Grower/Federal Labor Requirements: Filiberto Quintero, U.S. Department of Labor
  • Biological Aspects of Vineyard Soil & How it Affects Growth, Pests, Diseases, and Yields: Daphne Amory, Viticulture Expert
  • Extended Q&A on Current Interest Topics: Lowell Zelinski, President IGGPRA

 

All grape growers are invited and encouraged to attend. The IGGPRA is a volunteer-run organization dedicated to the advancement of superior wine grape growing in the Paso Robles American Viticultural Area. The organization is committed to providing its members with farming resources, continued education, hands-on training seminars, and opportunities to network through the seminar series and social mixer events with other grape growers, buyers, vintners and vineyard suppliers.
