Almond Acres students to stage Mary Poppins Jr. Musical
Tickets available now
– Almond Acres Charter Academy students will perform Mary Poppins Jr. on April 24 and 25 in the school’s multipurpose room. The musical will feature middle school performers, with support from elementary students, and is open to the public.
Mary Poppins Jr. tells the story of the Banks family, whose lives are transformed when a magical nanny, Mary Poppins, arrives. Through music, adventure, and a bit of magic, she teaches the children—and their parents—important lessons about kindness, imagination, and the value of family.
“This production of Mary Poppins Jr. is a true celebration of our students’ creativity, hard work, and heart. We are so excited to invite our community to experience the magic they’ve brought to life on stage,” said Madison Robertson, first-grade teacher at Almond Acres and the director of the musical.
The show will run for 60 minutes. Showtimes are as follows:
- Friday, April 24 at 6 p.m.
- Saturday, April 25 at 2 p.m.
- Saturday, April 25 at 6 p.m.
Concessions will be available for purchase. Presale tickets are available for $10 on the event website. If the event is not sold out, tickets will be available at the door for $15. Those interested in supporting the arts may also make a tax-deductible donation.
