–Maggie Tillman, representing Alta Colina Wine in Paso Robles, was invited to pour a selection of their wines at Liquid Asset Cellars in Burbank this past Saturday evening, Feb. 16.

An enthusiastic group of about 30 wine lovers were at the intimate tasting hosted by Kevin Jones, LAC proprietor.

This is the third time Maggie has been invited to share Alta Colina wines with LA Cellars and their invited guests, who were privileged to sample the following:

  • 2016 Model Citizen Rosanne. Released Oct., 2018
  • 2015 GSM (a quintessential Paso Robles Rhone blend)
  • 2015 Old 900 Syrah…just nine bottles available
  • 2012 GSM…library selection (just one case available)
  • 2012 Mourvedre…library selection (just one case available)

Liquid Asset Cellars is a private social club geared to the serious wine lover. As such, they host winemakers on a regular basis for their members’ enjoyment, and to introduce them to new, smaller production wineries. Of this particular event, Kevin said: “We are always pleased to have Maggie and Alta Colina here pouring their wines. Our members and guests appreciate the one on one interaction with these fabulous small producers. Several Paso Robles wineries have poured here over the years, and our friends love being introduced to new, exciting Central Coast wines and different varietals.”

These sentiments were echoed by Maggie who commented, “It’s a pleasure to come down to Southern California and be able to pour our wines for a group of serious wine lovers. LA Cellars has always been a great venue, and their members have certainly helped get the word out in the greater Los Angeles area about Alta Colina and Paso Robles wines. We thank Kevin for his hospitality and look forward to future visits with all our and LA Cellars’ wine friends.”

LA Cellars is always excited to host small, quality wineries for their group, especially wineries from Paso Robles. LA Cellars also offers wine storage, cellar design builds and inventory services.
