Ancient Peaks Winery donates $50,000 to Dream Big Darling
Funds were raised through sales of the winery’s specialty One Stone wines in 2024
– Ancient Peaks Winery delivered a $50,000 donation to Dream Big Darling this week. The nonprofit is focused on mentoring and elevating the next generation of women leaders in the wine and spirits industry. The funds were raised through sales of the winery’s specialty One Stone wines in 2024, continuing an annual fundraising initiative that has now reached its fourth year.
“This initiative is all about fostering leadership opportunities for women in our industry,” said Doug Filipponi, co-owner of Ancient Peaks Winery. “It’s inspiring to see how our One Stone wines continue to make a practical difference.”
One Stone produces two highly rated flagship wines—a Cabernet Sauvignon and a Rosé. The brand’s mantra is “the woman who moves a mountain starts with a single stone.” The wines are known for their colorful labels, which feature original works by local artist Audrey Jackson.
A portion of One Stone proceeds supports Dream Big Darling’s mission, funding programs such as educational seminars, leadership workshops, industry networking opportunities, and scholarships. This year’s donation marks an increase in support, reflecting the continued growth of the initiative and its impact on aspiring female professionals.
“We are grateful for the steadfast support of One Stone,” said Amanda Wittstrom-Higgins, president and founder of Dream Big Darling. “These contributions have allowed us to shape our industry in a meaningful way.”
“Our distributor partners and customers make this fundraising initiative possible,” said Kristin Muhly, vice president of sales and marketing at Ancient Peaks. “Their passion helps us make an impact, and we’re excited to see what’s next for the women who are mentored by Dream Big Darling.”
