–The 23rd annual Paso Robles Rotary Winemakers’ Cookoff is returning for a night filled with quality wine, gourmet food, and fun. Over 20 of the region’s best winemakers and breweries will battle it out for the Judges’ Awards and People’s Choice Award. Prizes are awarded for the best food served.

All proceeds will benefit the Harlow Ford Scholarship Fund for local high school seniors. The Paso Robles Rotary Club is dedicated to helping youth in the community.

“It’s the best event in North County,” says Rotarian Vicki Silva, with “Food, wine, beer, music, and lots of fun!”

Last year, the Rotary Club donated more than $89,000 in scholarships. The club’s goal is to increase its scholarships to $100,000. “All due to the support of our local wineries and breweries and the generosity of our community,” says Silva.

Help them continue supporting local youth and delight your taste buds with choice wine and excellent food at the 23rd Annual Winemakers Cookoff.

Tickets will be limited this year, as they were last year. “We sold out last year and anticipate that we will do so again this year,” Silva says.

The event will be held at the Paso Robles Event Center on Aug. 13 from 6-9 p.m. Tickets are $95 and will be available for purchase now. Tickets are available at http://www.winemakerscookoff.com.
