Program offers $350,000 in funding opportunities

    – The Justin Vineyards & Winery Community Grants program has returned with up to $350,000 in funding for schools, nonprofits, and organizations in Paso Robles and surrounding communities. Since its inception in 2013, the program has contributed more than $1.6 million to 258 projects, 150 teachers, and 39 schools.

This year’s funding includes $300,000 in community grants ranging from $1,000 to $50,000 and $50,000 for classroom grants through DonorsChoose, which allows teachers to apply for up to $2,000.

Eligibility for the grants is open to nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status, hospitals, local government agencies, and schools serving North County communities. Successful applicants must demonstrate a commitment to equity and community needs while delivering tangible and visible results for the region.

Applications are open now, with a submission deadline of Feb. 28, 2025, at midnight PST. Winners will be announced in April 2025.

Justin Vineyards & Winery, founded in 1981, is recognized for producing wines using Bordeaux grape varieties, including its flagship Isosceles blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot. The winery offers a variety of experiences, including tastings, luxury accommodations at the Just Inn, and a Michelin-starred dining experience at the Restaurant at Justin. A second tasting room is located in downtown Paso Robles.
