Update: Armed robbery reported in San Miguel, suspect at large

–On Sunday morning at approximately 7:30 a.m., San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call of an armed robbery which had just occurred at the Chevron gas station in the 900 block of K Street in San Miguel.

An adult male entered the store, displayed a firearm to the clerk, and demanded money. The suspect then left the market on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured during the incident.

Deputies searched for the suspect along with assistance from California Highway Patrol ground and air units and a K9 from the Atascadero Police Department.

The suspect is still outstanding. The suspect is described as an adult male, possibly in his 20’s, 5′ 8″ tall, 160 lbs. He was last seen wearing a grey Adidas zip-up sweatshirt with three black stripes running down the shoulders, black sweatpants, white shoes, blue mask (possibly gaiter style) and mechanic-type gloves with white/grey cotton backs and black palms.

Armed robbery reported in San Miguel

–An armed robbery was reported Sunday morning in San Miguel. At approximately 7:30 a.m. a suspect using a small black handgun or revolver robbed the Chevron gas station at 998 K Street, San Miguel. The suspect fled on foot and is wanted by authorities.

The suspect is described as 5’8″ to 5’9″ tall, approximately 150 lbs., wearing black sweatpants, white shoes, and a grey hoodie or sweater with a hoodie, blue mask, covered face, unknown race, slim build, approximately 28-years old.
