Atascadero artist to be featured at Western Art Show
Local artist Brian Nelson will be featured at the 25th annual Cattlemen’s Western Art Show, which will be held at the Paso Robles Event Center, the weekend of March 27 through the 29. Nelson’s nickname is the “Artist of the American West” and he is a traditional artist who paints in oils, watercolors and also works in bronzes.
Nelson currently resides in Atascadero, where he creates works of art depicting historical and contemporary Western subjects. Nelson is currently in negotiations to open studio space in Paso Robles for his own gallery.

Friday, March 27– PG&E Reception
Preview and Sale from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
No host bar and wine tasting. Artist’s wine and hors d’oeuvre reception ($20 per person). Tickets available at the door.
Saturday, March 28
Free admission from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Cattlemen’s BBQ from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. ($10 per plate).
Sunday, March 29
Free admission from 10 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Cattlemen’s BBQ from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. ($10 per plate).
