    – The Atascadero Chamber of Commerce and the Atascadero Chapter of the American Association of University Women have named Diane Cassidy, Alexandra Chamberlain, and Dawn Smith as the 2026 Women of Influence North County honorees.

Now in its sixth year, the Women of Influence North County program recognizes women for their leadership, service, vision, and accomplishments in North County.

Cassidy, a Realtor with RE/MAX Success, worked to bring Royal Family Kids Camp to North County, providing a free summer camp for children in foster care. Drawing from her own experience with foster care, Cassidy spent seven years building relationships and community support to establish the program.

Chamberlain, executive director of Tolosa Children’s Dental Center, has worked to expand access to oral health care for underserved children. She has more than 15 years of nonprofit experience and has secured funding, developed community partnerships, and supported programs that allow the center to serve thousands of children throughout San Luis Obispo County each year.

Smith, chief executive officer of Habitat for Humanity San Luis Obispo County, works in nonprofit leadership and affordable housing advocacy. She has helped raise nearly $1 million for the organization’s Home Preservation Program, which supports home repairs for local seniors, veterans, and families, as well as affordable homeownership opportunities.

“These women demonstrate that influence is about more than professional achievement. It is about using your talents, relationships, and leadership to improve the lives of others,” said Josh Cross, president and chief executive officer of the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce. “We invite our entire community to join us in celebrating Diane, Alexandra, and Dawn and the extraordinary impact they are making throughout North County.”

The community is invited to celebrate the honorees Tuesday, Sept. 29, at SpringHill Suites Atascadero.

The program will add a Leadership & Impact Summit this year from 8:30 to 11 a.m. The summit will include a keynote presentation, facilitated conversations, and a women in leadership panel. The annual luncheon will follow from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Proceeds will benefit the American Association of University Women’s Tech Trek program and scholarships for graduating Atascadero High School girls pursuing entrepreneurial and higher education goals.

Tickets and additional information are available through the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce at www.atascaderochamber.org.
