Atascadero Community Band to perform ‘Dynamic Duos’ concert March 2

Concert to feature iconic musical partnerships

    – The Atascadero Community Band is set to perform “Dynamic Duos,” a musical celebration of iconic partnerships, on Sunday, March 2, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Atascadero Bible Church. Admission, parking, and refreshments are free, and donations will support the ALF Food Pantry, a local nonprofit organization.

The concert will feature dynamic duos from across history, including the crime-fighting duo of Batman and Robin, the musical partnership of Rodgers and Hammerstein, the historical rivalry of Hamilton and Burr, and the magical friendship of Glinda and Elphaba. Each performance will highlight a different aspect of partnership, tension, and triumph, all conducted by Carol Kouklis and David Landers.

The Atascadero Community Band promises an afternoon of electrifying melodies and harmonies. The program will include Broadway classics, cinematic scores, and timeless duets.

All donations collected during the concert will benefit the ALF Food Pantry, which provides food for local families in need.

The Atascadero Community Band is an all-volunteer organization made up of musicians from across the Central Coast. The band encourages those with an interest in music to join, as they are always looking for new members. For more information, visit atascaderoband.org.
