Atascadero Fall Festival opens for three-day run
Festival offers free admission and multiple live music performances
– The 5th Annual Atascadero Fall Festival opened Friday for a three-day run. The rides and booths will be open from 12 noon until 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Free live music is performed on two stages. More than a dozen carnival rides are scattered through the Sunken Fardens. Booths line the Sunken Garden with information, food, and gifts. Patty Clark of Morro Bay is representing “Damsels in Distress.” She sells products to help women protect themselves.

At 10 a.m. Saturday morning, the Colony Days Parade will roll down El Camino Real. Colony Days celebrates Atascadero’s history as a utopian society that endorsed Women’s Suffrage.
The Fall Festival is free.
