Atascadero launches Food Truck Weekends series 

Visitors can purchase food while enjoying lake activities

– The City of Atascadero and the Central Coast Zoo announced the launch of Food Truck Weekends at Atascadero Lake Park. The new program began June 20 and will continue through Sept. 27 from noon to 4 p.m.

Visitors to the park can purchase food from local food trucks while exploring the zoo, riding paddle boats on the lake, walking around the lake, fishing, or spending time in the park.

The June and July schedule includes:

• June 27-28: Mary’s Cuisine
• July 5: Huatulco Tacos. Organizers noted that the Fourth of July Music Festival will also take place that day, with additional food options available.
• July 11-12: Mary’s Cuisine
• July 18-19: Vendor to be announced
• July 25-26: Mary’s Cuisine

The August and September food truck schedule will be posted at www.VisitAtascadero.com/events.
