Atascadero networking mixer supports local professional connections

Monthly event connects entrepreneurs, remote workers, and recruiters

    – The Central Coast Tech Networking Mixer will return to BridgeWorks in downtown Atascadero on Thursday, May 14, at 5:30 p.m., as organizers continue efforts to connect entrepreneurs, remote workers, and professionals across San Luis Obispo County.

Hosted by Albert’s List, the monthly event has become a recurring gathering for local professionals to exchange ideas, share career updates, discuss current projects, and meet others working across the Central Coast.

While San Luis Obispo County is often associated with wine, tourism, and agriculture, organizers said a growing network of technologists, remote employees, and business professionals continues to expand throughout the region.

“We’ve had people come to these mixers to talk about career pivots, new business ideas, job opportunities, and projects they’re building after work,” said Albert Qian, founder of Albert’s List. “There’s a real community forming here among people who want to stay connected, keep learning, and meet others doing interesting things locally.”

Organizers said the event regularly attracts entrepreneurs, recruiters, remote Fortune 500 employees, job seekers, software professionals, marketers, and small business owners. Many attendees return because conversations at the mixer tend to focus on relationship-building and ongoing professional connections.

Pizza from Fatte’s Pizza will be served, and attendees are encouraged to bring business cards or LinkedIn QR codes for networking.

The event is free and open to the public.
